Al Marjan Island is Marjan’s flagship waterfront development in Ras Al Khaimah, comprising four coral-shaped artificial islands.
The archipelago comprises Breeze Island, Treasure Island, Dream Island and View Island. Breeze Island connects the development to the mainland, and the island group extends approximately 4.5 kilometres into the Arabian Gulf.
Land reclamation began in 2004, phased development started three years later and the island officially opened in 2013.

Marjan began operating as master developer of Ras Al Khaimah freehold properties and acquired Al Marjan Island and its real-estate operations. Separately, the RAK Municipality registry uses the exact label “AL Marjan Island — Registered Master Developer” for the Al Marjan Island area.
Marjan’s official masterplan describes hospitality, residential and leisure uses, including promenades, fitness areas, running and cycling tracks, parks and play areas. This does not mean every amenity serves every building or project.
According to Marjan, the masterplan is supported by district cooling and electricity, water, sewage and telecommunications networks. This is a description of planned infrastructure and not an uptime or service-level guarantee.
